We are so glad to have you visit us. Please feel free to contact us for any questions that you might have. Most of our Cub Scouts are from Friendship Elementary in Keller, Texas and we have many more from surrounding areas.
We have one Pack meeting a month. Our Pack meeting is a gathering of all the Scouts, their families, and the leaders of our Pack. It is a fun and fast paced program with games, songs, skits, awards, and lessons to be learned. Our Pack meetings are generally held on the third Thursday of every month from September through May.
There are usually two Den meetings and a Den outing (go see it) held every month in addition to the Pack meeting. During each month the kids follow the specified BSA (Boy Scout of America) literature so everyone can learn, develop, and grow into better young men and citizens according to the Character Connections and BSA policies.
We hold summertime events during the months of June, July, and August to keep our Scouts and their families active and involved with Scouting. During the Scouting year, we go on camp outs, attend sporting events, participate in parades, perform "Good Deeds" such as community clean-ups, and do volunteer work at churches.
The pack activities are financed in several ways and most of the spending goes directly to benefit the boys. These costs are distributed among, advancement awards, and other Scout items. The Pack supplements its dues and fees with Scout fundraisers.
The Pack does not want to deny any Scout the opportunity to participate in scouting due to lack of finances. Parents should discuss the situation with a Committee member if there is a concern with finances. As mentioned earlier, all financial assistance matters will be handled confidentially
